Did I mention that Git rocks? I’ve been a stick-in-the-mud for CVS since 2003 mainly because I’ve been a single developer and haven’t had to do any branching and merging. Subversion left me cold. As Linus Torvalds says, “Subversion…they say it’s ‘CVS done right’. If you start with that kind of slogan there is nowhere you can go. There is no way to ‘do CVS right'”:
Git is good, Git is social. I can have as many Git repos as I like, and I don’t have to be on-line. Git, where have you been all my life?
