After playing around some more with GMF I came to the decision that I will not use it. I feel like I am in a straight-jacket. I understand how it works but it’s going to take me some time to be entirely comfortable with it and know how to customise it. So…I’m going to use EMF for the domain model, which I feel comfortable with, and raw GEF for the diagram editor.
